spiceonice2013-158Congratulations to those who won awards at this years Spice on Ice event.  We thoroughly enjoyed crafting the awards for this event.  Overall around 350 people attended the event and there were many restaurants competing for the awards we created.

The winner this year for overall Chef of the Year was awarded to Luis Ramos of Gaucho Grill. This amazing Brazilian style steakhouse serves up some delicious steaks, chicken, pork and other meats.  You can also take part in their all you can eat buffet which offers some other Bazillion favorites.  This is probably the reason that Luis Ramos also one the Judge’s choice and People’s Choice awards in the yearly competition.

The runner up for People’s Choice was awarded to Ted Mathesius of the Copper Mill Restaurant.

The runner up for the Judges Choice award actually ended in a tie between Chef Daniel Warnick and Travis Rigby.  Travis is the owner and chef for Savannah’s BBQ and Daniel Warnick, chef for USU Catering.
